Brazilian Butt Lift is a buttocks augmentation. It is based on liposuction and fat injection. The main concept is that by adding volume to the central and lateral compartment of the buttocks, an expansion of the entire anatomical area can be created, hence a firm lifting. Liposuction can be performed in many areas such as the lower part of the face, the neck, arms, thighs, knees, calves, the anterior abdominal wall of the flanks, and the entire back. Then, the fat must be purified from blood, water, local anesthesia, and also from the oil that comes from damage to fat cells. After that, the surgeon injects the fat into the areas where we want it to stay.
It is obvious that aging is associated with an increase in fat volume on the abdominal wall and flanks. Simultaneously, the fat in the buttocks area tends to shrink or reduce in volume.
