The quickest recovery times are for facial cosmetic surgeries. Operations that require more muscle contraction, such as breast augmentation or abdominoplasty, will need more time for scars, bruises, and swelling to disappear. Our board-certified surgeons will assist you throughout this process and will complete the surgeries safely and effectively so you can recover faster.
The duration of surgeries depends on the patient and the type of procedure they have undergone on their body. Generally, you can expect the procedures to last between 1 and 4 hours.
Resting after surgery is one of the best and fastest ways you can help your body to recover. Avoid lifting heavy objects, sun exposure, and keep your exercise to a minimum for the first few weeks. After 3 or 4 weeks, you can gradually return to your normal exercise routine.
No medical procedure comes without risks, however, you can reduce possible complications and risks as long as you listen carefully and follow the pre and post-surgery instructions from our board-certified surgeons.
Generally, insurance will not cover cosmetic plastic surgery; however, it will cover those expenses if the reconstructive procedures are considered medically necessary related to injuries, diseases or injuries. Our office will work with you to see if insurance covers part of the procedures and will inform you about our internal financial plans.
